A life is what we see - Episode 2
She entered the campus , she had no clue what's ragging or how the aura would be. She accidentally met Veer, a senior of her own computer science branch. She asked him the direction to auditorium for freshers gathering. Veer felt the butterflies in his tummy for very first time. He replied the function would start bit late Miss.! She replied oh thank you, myself Rachana admitted for computer science. Veer was like ladoo bandhu baige bitu (it's my time) and proudly introduced I'm veer, coordinator for freshers event . Raach moved away by saying Pleasure to meet you, Veer . She was roaming around the campus , someone pushed her harshly and it was Lahari , she was a fresher too. Raach and Lahari had a basic conversation and she pushed Raach as Lahari thought it was her school friend. Lahari departed without saying sorry .Raach felt that people are so easy going and extrovert . Raach moved to the auditorium and occupied her seat named by her name. She was surprised to see Lahari again in her next seat. But weiredly Raach did'nt get a happy response from her, she kept quite thinking that it's a attitude problem. Later the same next girl wanted to start a conversation, she said hello, what's your name? Raach was astonished and wondered that is she making a fun of me or this is a ragging? Raach with a breath replied Lahari what's wrong with you?
But the opponent reply was aloud laugh, she replied I'm not Lahari, I'm Siri, we are twin sisters. Lahari is a prankster, you might have met her. Raach took few minutes to figure whether it was true or false. Once after peeping Siri's wallpaper she gained trust. She felt Siri is more comfortable than Lahari. The freshers day speech was over before Raach solved the puzzle of Siri and Lahari. Everyone started to head towards the respective classes. These three sat together in the middle of the 5 rows. The very first class was M1. All I heard was Fourier series , the very first class made me sleep but Lahari's lame jokes kept me alive. Then a faculty came and said you belong to p cycle. I was totally unware what was that and in background ''my mind was spontaneously replying is it a period cycle, or poor cycle?'' Thank God Lahari said its a Physics cycle and I hate it Siri. Then I heard people discussing their opinions about the engineering, I kept myself silent and low . It was a tea break , Siri wanted to have breakfast and we moved towards the canteen. They went to order the food. I saw Veer again, I smiled and I got a broad smile from him. He waved his hand and came near the table where was I occupied. He introduced himself again ,I'm veer, do you remember me? I replied yeah, I do! Veer was like did you find any of the friends (Raach in mind, Damn it has been two hours and will I be able to find a friend, huh? I hate boys!) I replied, yeah few of them .By that time Lahari and Siri came , I introduced them to him, he said carry on Rachana, will catch you up later ,this is my number you can contact me regarding any of the issues or doubts about the college, you know right I'm your senior. He said me to save his number and left, I didn't share my number though. Lahari with her wicked eyes saw me and said Siri take my number , contact me na! In my mind I replied WTF ! But I smiled , he is just a senior I met him today. Siri controlled Lahari and we all had big laugh!On the very first day we three were late to class. Our strict mechanical sir warned us. Lahari from behind was blabbering hey Raach is he lecturer or mechanic, OMG look at his teeth, ah brown,! After 2 minutes of lecturing he let us in. Then it was a let off, We move down the stairs, They both went home, I was waiting to collect the application for my college van as travelling was a big trouble to me. I hate government buses you know right the crowd, ciger and ladies gossips. And main reason is I don't want to lose my weight. By that time I saw I guy, I felt I know him by my heart , he parked his vehicle and came near the accounts with his helmet. Then I said to myself 'Raach this is your first day, don't forget the cause for your presence ' . I left the place after collecting the application. Upon reaching home my eagerly waiting mom , welcomed me with juice and she switched on the fan, I could see the love in her eyes, all I felt was I pretended to be mad to attempt suicide . Ugh I realize I'm worth to live. Raach had her formal dinner and went to sleep.
The next day she climbed her college bus and reached the college. Siri waved at her as soon as she entered the class. Lahari introduced a girl named Vaividya , the most prettiest girl. We were finally four. The days were smooth. We started to know better about ourselves. I saw the same guy in the parking lot again when we had a off, unknowingly I was curious about him, Lahari caught me and asked Vaividya for fun, you know him right, Vaidz , she was like whom? Then Siri showed him, Vaidz replied yeah it is Arjun from civil!? We three were in shock, we all glared at her. She replied ,girls nothing like you think, he is my neighbor since a decade. And my heart echoed his name for several times . Two weeks of my new college was done and I started to adapt to the changes( emotionally and physically) .
