A life is what we see - Episode1
This is my new venture, towards the writing field. With my own experiences ,few seen and few imagined . I will be writing a story in a snippet form. With hope and love you shower, I shall begin this story"A life is what we see".
This story revolves with 4 characters. And these 4 characters are girls. Who knows even you are in this story!
Our story's lead is Rachana aka Rach. She is a middle class girl blended with tradition and modernization.
Rachana has neglected her board exams and forced by her family to take up the engineering. She had been through a trauma, such a way that she wasn't left alone. She was desperate about her results , a soft hearted girl who thought her life is no more. Her parents Radha and Raman yelled as other parents did. They compared her marks with the neighborhood. Rach cried day and night, Few days later her parents suggested to opt engineering as they thought it is bring a sunshine as it is a minimal status to live in society . She struggled to convince her parents that she would do fashion designing but according to her parents that profession would be out of box for their typical family. She had freedom with tied wings. Finally she agreed to take up the engineering in one of the colleges. She had a notion that number of engineers is equal to the number of street dogs in the lane. Rach was a single pampered kid and few incidents made her think that she was born to lose. Looking her tears, her mother Radha convinced, Rach , my doll don't worry you will surely have your success, Look at Pandu uncle's son Dvaita who isn't capable of writing a letter got a job in one of the reputed company , why can't you do. Think it's your cup of coffee. Fashion designing could be your hobby, not your profession. You know your father is over caring and you know him better . Do with engineering and then do as you wish.'' Deep inside Racch was like ' Ooh Ooh', over caring so you want my tears, God why am I born in middle class. Yah I know him better so I agreed to opt engineering maa.''
After attending series of selection rounds she got an seat in one of the engineering college in the outskirts of the city.
She woke with the tension with no clue how would be her engineering days, her mother had cooked Pulavo as it was her favorite dish. Raman was ready before Raach to drop her half the way for the college , She offered prayers to God and left home with fear to college. On the way Raman spoke to his daughter after a long time as they weren't speaking due to her results( he wasn't rude but he wanted Raach to realize her mistake, though it's un-eraseable, he wanted to make sure she wouldn't repeat again). Raman and Raach had a very good bonding as he thought Raach is a angel in his life. Till the date she wasnt beaten by her father except on the day she tried to suicide due to her results. Raman stopped speaking from that day, he winded that incident by saying Rachana , I haven't asked you to top but I have never seen you working with competitive exams , I could all see you with your cellphone and now you are crying that you couldn't make up and I won't be called as a parent if I don't yell at you now. The results are out, your death won't be a valid reason for your failure. Later Raach realized her father's words and suppressed her weakness .
On the reopening day, while riding her father said, I'm sorry Raach, I never meant to hurt you with silence. Wish you all the success magale (daughter) . His eyes were filled with tears. She hugged him tightly without any words. Her stop arrived he made her to climb the bus and departed to his work. She was away from all social media to keep herself a constant. Her best friend from PU called her saying that Raach, what had happened to you, I couldn't find you anywhere on the social apps. Raach replied, sorry Vanditha , I needed a break , I'll be back soon. Vanditha exaggerately said babe I am going to vizag for my medical education. Raach said All the best honey(with a heavy voice) . A thought sparked, I was a topper all these years and now I am up-to now where. But she remembered her father's words it's never late, you destiny is within you. She hanged up the call saying I'll call you in the evening as my bus is getting crowded. Her destination arrives and she gets down from the bus.
